Happy New Year!

For New Year Eve's party I've chosen Balmain gold dress from Fall 2010 collection (worn by gorgeous Anja Rubik during the show) because definitely it is one of a most talked about dress this season and it's a perfect dress for party! My favourite look with this dress is by Anna Dello Russo. Isn't she a master of wear-all and look-great? Balmain's dress maches perfectly with Alexander Macqueen's Skull Clasp Clutch and wonderful gold shoes. Seems like this dress is also a jewellery itself but I add some TopShop's bracelets to spoil a little bit this look. Talking about New Year Eve's party we can't forget about champagne. But there are so many of them and I am so bad at making choice if it comes to alcohol. I can stare and stare at bottles for houres. So I'd rather buy one from my favourite alcohol brand Moet because I know it will taste just great. These Gold Champagne Flutes are from WATTS CONTEMPORARY. I'm sure you all will have an amazing parties! Happy New Year!

My favourite scenes from old movies

Its nice to watch some old movies during the winter holiday. I wish 2011 will be as romantic as in those films.

Boots fight

Selected by Pola Cherie

This season it's all about heavy boots. I'm madly in love with those from Acne. But it's nice sometimes to change into flat biker boots which looks great with anything (and sexes up any look)- long maxi dress, skinny jeans or shorts.

Finally I'm in Japan and I have an Internet! Hurray! Since noticeably top hit best fashion item in Japan this season is "everything whith fur" I decided to make two different looks with this amazing Burberry Cropped Rabbit Jacket. Skinny jeans and leather biker boots makes first look casual chick. It's very windy nowadays so I never go outside without a big warm scarf around my neck. I like checked scarfs because they never go out of fashion.
Second look is elegant but still having-fun-elegance (this word describes my own personal style very well:).

I want to also admit that I love Celine's bags very much and I think Phoebe Philo is doing an amazing job. She created a new must-have items.

First look, from the top left corner: Burberry Cropped rabbit jacket, Burberry Cashmere Pink Giant Check Scarf, Roberto Cavalli Mid-rise skinny jeans, Roberto Cavalli Silk-satine and lace blouse, Celine Medium Shopper Tote Bag 3306 Dark Coffee Shiny/Croc Veins, Burberry Shearling-lined leather biker boots.

Second look, from the top left corner: Burberry Cropped rabbit jacket, Burberry Cashmere Light Gray Giant Check Scarf, Bottega Veneta Belted slouched leather pants, Roberto Cavalli Leopart-print stretch-satin shirt, Celine Boston Bag, Acne Hybria leather wedge boots.

Travel in style 2: simple, comfortable & chic

Selected by Pola Cherie

Going from Europe to Asia by plane takes more or less ten hours. From Europe to Australia I bet more. First thing you consider about clothes you're going to wear during such a long journey is that they must be comfortable. The next same important thing is that they must be simple to wear to not worry about how it will look after you arrive (wrinkled, bent to wrong way etc).
Tomorrow I have a flight from Munich to Tokyo (eleven hours in a plane make me sick just by thinking about it) and I am going to wear some Uni Qlo's leggins which look like a jeans but are a way more comfortable, oversized my boyfriend's cardigan, big fur scarf which I can use also as a blanket - because I'm always freezing during a flight. It's good to take some ballerina, flat shoes to change to them inside.

Travel in style 1: pouches

Selected by Pola Cherie

When I travel I try to put jewellery, cosmetics and other small things in various pouches so that after arriving I can easly find what I need without bowling my suitcases over and making a mess around.
The best way to carry a ring is to take its box with you but when you are taking a plenty of them it's better to put them in a jewellery case like above.
When you are taking a number of necklaces or bracelets it's better to carry them each separatly in a velvet or cashmere's pouches.
Cosmetics are the easiest to pack - but remember to check if you screw properly all the caps. But the fact is after a few months of using a pouch for cosmetics it becoms dirty inside. Or maybe it's only me who lets my lipstick colour my pouch ^^??

Going to Japan with your pet - how does it really look

I have my dog since September 2009. Firstly I was thinking about buying a Pomeranian but because I am multiracial I decided that having a mixed-raced dog would be the best. I found a sweet puppies on the Internet and the owner told me that they are half pekingese and half yorkshire terrier. Later, when he grew up I'd realised that he's father wasn't at all a york but a dachshund. But who does reclamation of puppie you are already madly in love with? I don't. I named him Muffin after chocolate muffins from Coffee Heaven which always makes me happy. When I decided to continue my study in Tokyo it was obvious that I want to take Muffin with me.

However when I called the japanese embassy to ask them what do I need to do so it turned out that it is not so easy.

The main problem was that they require 180 days of quarantine in your country during which you need to do a blood test several times to check if there is a rabies. And they will accept the results only from the clinic they've chosen in your country. Otherwise as soon as a dog lands in japanese airport they will take it from you and put a pet in their quarantine center. Then you would be forced to pay 30 dolars per day (multiply 180 days).

Because of the fact that in Japan there is no rabies since early 70'ties I fully understand that but I'm so sad that I have to leave him behind. He will be in good hands though.
