OFF Line

(image via fashiongonerogue)

Go offline. Enjoy your life.

I used to do a horseback-riding when I'd been living at my father's house. You can really feel free running and you can look down on others - if you have aspirations to. That was a very short period but really it became my passion. I can't hide - I love to be online (everywhere, everyday) so I'm spending four houres, five times a week at gym to stay real (and healthy). But I really hope someday I will return to nature and enjoy a horseback-riding again (it is proved that out door aero sports are better than gym'ing!).

Sometimes I put a make up on my face even if I know I'm not going anywhere. Sometimes I'm telling myself that I am planning to go somewhere but I secretly know that finally I won't. I sit in front of a mirror and make up very slowly. I carefully choose colours, shapes, and tones. I curl my eyelashes imagining that tonight someone will look into my eyes and be strangely surprised. Then I open my white jewellery box and take one by one each treasure to my hand. I imagine to how wonderful parties and shows I will go wearing them. How many hands will want to shake with mine. How many words will be exchanged. How many happiness they will give me back that night after many years spend in a closure.

And when I realize I'm sitting in a dark room. I put a dressing-gown on my naked arms and go to bathroom. I look at my perfect hair, perfect make up and shining jewellery.

And there is a moment when I face the truth that I have to wash it all off and go to sleep and the only thing which awaits me is a lonely night.

But I know. I know I will be loved some day again.

Can you imagine yourself living on a desert island having a gap from life

(hollysuangray.4ormat)

Styled by brilliant one and only Holly Suan Gray

Photographed by Baldovino Barani

Have you ever felt walking across the train station that you want to get on the train not knowing the destination. That you want to go somewhere distant, remote and just dissapear. That you want to take a break, a gap from your own life. When you had thought you will be happy when your dreams comes true but you are not. When you know you have no reason to be dissapointed but you are.

To escape. To change. To feel. To wake up somewhere you don't even know where. Thats what I felt when I saw Holly Suan Gray's editorials.

I like her work. I like it much.

Thank You All for Your B'Day wishes!!

So I'm 21 years old now, huh. Childhood's years seem so long (I thought I will go to the same school endlessly) but then one day when you realize you are already an old man. In Europe you are formally an adult when you become 18 but in Japan when you turn 20. Funny thing is that in Poland and Japan they celebrate becoming and adult the same month - in January. In Poland when 'kids' became 18 every high school orginize a party called "Studniowka". Boys wear suits and girls wear long/short dresses. And they allowe you to drink alcohol in front of your teachers on that party (even if you're still 17). The party name also means that you have only 100 ("Sto") days to final exams, like they let you get drunk but the same time they are telling you that it's your last party before exams.

In Japan the new twenties wear kimono and have a party called "Seidzinshiki" ("Seidzin" - adult; "Shiki" - celebration). Fortunatetly this year I was in Japan in January so I could see how my friend celebrates their "becoming an adult". After a school's big celebration they separete to a smaller groups and move to restaurants or hotels or wherever and have a meal toghether (and get drunk I bet).
So different cultures and so similar ways to show who's next to own the world!
Photo above is taken by me. I had a small party at home with my close family. I also have booked a table in my favourite restaurant Camel Dining for Saturday's meeting with my friends (they have a best omelette I've ever eat). Since I hate cooking these Ritz crackers with Danish strawberry cheese with real strawberries was all I could serve. And I hadn't enough champagne glasses for all but who cares, Moet always tastes great.

The untold stories are the best ones

Wildfox, THE UNTOLD STORY OF MISS ANTOINETTE AND HER SISTERS, Vive la France Spring 2011.

I'm not quite into T-shirts with printed words but I have to say that I love how Wildfox's clothes are mixed whith other pieces not making a look too casual. And idea of photo shoot is just great. Who would thought that vacuum cleaning can be so much fun?

For these who doesn't like flowers

This SS collections are full of flowers, fruits and animals prints. There are many designers who counted on bright, fluorescent I'd say, colours. My favourite look of SS 2011 is a marine look from Christian Dior SS 2011 /Paris Fashion Week. I'd die to have such hair! But I'd have to wait one year so that my own could be longer so I bet it would be better to buy a wig (I wonder if models hair from runway are real??). I've tried on some floral dresses but, mayby because I have in my mind that it's freazing cold outside or maybe because i'm not used to wear girly clothes, I'm not quite into this trend. I used to wear very neutral colours. No doubts that my favourite colour is black. I can wear everything if its only black. I like animal prints more than floral delicate prints and I bet many of you feels the same way. So nice to see spreads with no signs of flower's impact.
